Voted the best BTRDA and best MSA Welsh Rally of 2017.
We are very pleased to have continued sponsorship from EventSigns for our 2019 event, producers of high quality commercial signage, vehicle vinyl wrap and promotional banners in addition to the rally banners and rally plates used by the Woodpecker and many other rallies, extending an involvement that started with the first Woodpecker in 1983.
We are again based at Ludlow Racecourse for all the formalities on Friday and Saturday and for the service halts during the event. There will be five special stages in the Marches and Wales and, we are again making full use of Radnor in 2019 for two stages which we know will be in excellent condition after repairs by Rally4Wales.
The rally will open with Haye Park Stage followed by a stage in Radnor, then a service halt back at Ludlow Racecourse.
There will be another stage in the Marches followed by a stage in Haye Park, then a service halt and a final run through another stage in Radnor.
Awards will be presented at the final control as the crews arrive back at Ludlow Racecourse.
Further news and information in the run up to the EventSigns 2019 Woodpecker will be available on our Website, on Facebook and on Twitter.

Would Radio Operators complete the online registration form at:
or else please contact:
Radio Co-ordinator - Roger Whitehouse email@example.com
Please do not ring officials after 21:00.
As always though, the event cannot run without the help of volunteers such as yourselves and hence the organising committee are both thankful for your help in previous years and would be very grateful for your assistance in the safe running of the event on Saturday 31st August 2019.
If you are able to attend we would be very grateful if you could contact us, stating the number of people attending and the callsigns of any radios that you will be using.
Further details will be found on the Woodpecker website.
One more final point to add, as most of you will now know, the MSA introduced some new regulations around marshal registrations, so please do let us know if you and your team are registered with the MSUK. If you're not, it's not a problem (albeit it's an easy job which is recommended doing), we just need to ensure we plan our teams carefully our side.
Many thanks for your help and we hope to be able to see you on the day.
